Chocolate Oreos Dogs on a stick

What

    1 pack of regular Oreos
  • 2
    200 grams dark chocolate
  • 3
    Suger eyes
  • 4
    50 grams pretzel sticks
  • 5
    1 tablespoon of raisins

    Melt the chocolate au bain-marie by placing it in a heat-resistant bowl on top of a pan with hot to boiling water. Make sure that the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the boiling water, as that might burn the chocolate.

    Take one Oreo and separate the two cookies. To one of those cookies, the filling will stick.

    On the side with the filling, make little dimples with the pretzel.

    Take one long pretzel stick (as the holder) and two smaller ones (for the ears) and stick them in the holes you made in the filling. Use only a tiny bit of chocolate, as it will act as glue. Using too much may cause it not to stick.

    Drop a little melted chocolate in the middle of the side with all the pretzels and stick the other side of the cookie back on top. Now you have your original Oreo cookie with a stick and two ears.

    Carefully dip the Oreo into the melted chocolate by placing it on a fork and submerging it in the melted chocolate. When it is fully covered in chocolate, slowly take the Oreo out on the fork and hold it above the bowl so the excess chocolate can drip off.

    Place the Oreos on a stick on a sheet of baking paper. Place two sugar eyes on top; they will stick to the melted chocolate once dry.

    From another Oreo, separate the part with the filling and carve an oval that will function as a snout. Stick it to the Oreo.

    Cut a raisin in half (or to the appropriate size for the actual nose) and stick it onto the snout.

    Repeat this to make as many chocolate Oreo dogs as you want!

    Place the Oreos in the fridge until the chocolate hardens, and then enjoy.
