    40 milliliters boiling water

    1/4 cucumber

    1 hand iceberg lettuce

    Begin by placing a light layer of instant couscous in a heat-resistant bowl, preferably a glass one. Pour hot water over the couscous, allowing it to rest until it fully absorbs the water.

    While the couscous is soaking, prep the fresh ingredients. Chop up the cucumber, iceberg lettuce, tomato, and paprika, adding them to the bowl.

    Drain the chickpeas and toss them into the bowl.

    To infuse the flavors, season your salad with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
